First seen at 10m44s, Arthur & Ray go here to give the police coach the once-over. Notice the position of the slanting roof behind the coach.

 

At 41m27s, the same location features again as Arthur and Ray are forced to return the coach to the police.

 

COLLECTING PASSENGERS – THEN & NOW

At 17m21s, Arthur & Ray collect passengers for their maiden voyage in the coach at Terminal 4.

 

COACH TRIP 1 – BIJOU APARTMENTS – THEN & NOW

At 19m55s, when the passengers demand a commentary, Arthur begins by telling them they are passing a set of bijou apartments on the right.

 

COACH TRIP 2 – STAR OF BENGAL RESTAURANT – THEN & NOW

At 20m17s, the coach has now left the motorway and Arthur tells the passengers the famous ‘Star of Bengal’ Restaurant is on the left.

 

COACH TRIP 3 – SEVEN SEAS OFF LICENCE & SUPERMARKET – THEN & NOW

At 20m28s, Arthur tells the passengers they are passing the Seven Seas Off Licence & Supermarket.

 

COACH TRIP 4 – BETTING SHOP ON THE LEFT – THEN & NOW

At 20m46s, Arthur tells the passengers they are passing a betting shop owned by Stan Sharp, a right ducker & diver from up our way.

 

COACH BREAKDOWN – THEN & NOW

At 21m27s, the coach finally breaks down here where Arthur is forced to think on his feet and tell the passengers that there is a “mere technical fault”.

 

Saying anything to pacify the passengers, Arthur tells them to view a fine example of English statuary. This is outside the PM Gallery & House buildings.
