Based on historical satellite images, it is likely this station and its immediate surroundings that all feature in the film were demolished sometime during 1988 and 1989. The two angled pylons seen below were still present in 2009 on route D304, immediately beyond the station car park.

A completely new station now exists at this location, Calais-Frethun TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse) – which officially opened in September 1993. This is the first station on the continental side of the Eurostar route.
