At 36m04s, we see a ground level view of the location (blue dot) as Ozzie loads more phones into Arthur’s car, with a view of flats on Bosworth Road.

At 09m56s, Arthur’s phone call to Johnny causes a radio-controlled aeroplane to crash at this location.

At 16m51s, Arthur is giving Simon Granger a demonstration of the car phone, when it interferes with a policeman’s radio.

 

The shot is slightly out of sequence as Arthur turns left into The Avenue (above), a split second later to be still arriving at the end of Bradley Gardens (below).

 

SPECTRUM PHONE SHOP – THEN & NOW

First seen at 19m09s, Arthur, Terry and Ozzie go here to steal green circle British Telecom stickers for the dodgy car phones Arthur wants to sell to Granger. Look very closely as the three of them leave the shop and you wil see Eastcote library on the corner of the street opposite.

 

At 35m18s, Chisholm and Jones are at the shop following a lead on the dodgy phones. As Chisholm leaves, you catch a glimpse of ‘Kitchen Focus’ opposite at 100 Field End Road.

In 2013 this property was known as the ‘Thai Lemon’ Restaurant.
