At the start of this episode, Jack goes to visit Archie at his flower stall outside Putney hospital. This hospital closed in 1999 and was demolished in 2015.

At 11m50s we see Jack Wragg’s wife’s old place where Jack asks Terry to see if his wife is still there. This whole estate was demolished shortly afterwards.

At 15m43s, Jack introduces Terry to Neville at this location.

 

ARTHUR LOOKS FOR PROPERTY – THEN & NOW

At 18m22s, Arthur goes here looking for some property.

 

MEETING WITH ARCHIE – THEN & NOW 

STRATHLEVEN ROAD/MAULEVERER ROAD, LAMBETH, SW2

At 18m55s, Terry takes Jack and Neville to a meeting with Archie here and they drive along Strathleven Road and turn left into Mauleverer Road.

Terry then parks up on Mauleverer Road, the site where the meet takes place where property has now been built.

 

FINDING JACK – THEN & NOW 

KILDORAN ROAD/LYHAM ROAD, LAMBETH, SW2

Following Jack’s escape from Archie – at 23m48s, Terry’s Capri turns right from Kildoran Road into Lyham Road where he sees Jack near the Ellerslie Square Industrial Estate.

 

JACK ESCAPES FROM TERRY – THEN & NOW  

THE PRINCE OF WALES PUB, 14 PRINCEDALE ROAD, W11 

Around 26 minutes, after a second encounter with Archie, Terry accompanies Jack to this pub, only for Jack to leg it out the back on to Portland Road.

This location also features in #4.6 If Money Be The Food of Love, Play On.

ARCHES/BILLY’S WORKSHOP/DES ESCAPES FROM THE LAW – THEN & NOW 

CULVERT PLACE/CULVERT ROAD, SW11

Des organises a dodgy car for Jack with fellow rogue-trader Billy at this location. At 33 minutes, when the Granada’s former owner brings the police to investigate its disappearance, Des is forced to drive off in it and escape the clutches of the law.

Des turns right into the tunnel and it is here he parks the Granada and makes way on foot.

With their route blocked, the police sergeant and the car owner run into Culvert Place to discover they have lost Des.

 

DRIVING TO THE DOCK 1 – THEN & NOW  

GLAMIS ROAD/SHADWELL PIERHEAD, E1 

At 45 and a half minutes, Arthur, Terry, Des and Jack cross this bridge.

This location is not far from a similar looking bridge in #3.3 Rembrandt Doesn’t Live Here Anymore.

DRIVING TO THE DOCK 2 – THEN & NOW  

GLAMIS ROAD/SHADWELL PIERHEAD, E1 

Just after they cross this bridge, Arthur turns right in Wapping Wall to the dock location.

In the episode’s finale just as Jack is ready to leave for Amsterdam, Archie and his two heavies arrive.
