After accepting a Space Invaders challenge at the start of this episode here, they leave this pub at 3 minutes. Shortly after Terry drives away in his Capri, Arthur gets the key to Terry’s flat cut. At 25 minutes Terry is also having a drink outside the pub when Arthur turns up with ‘er indoors bidet.

This pub had previously featured in episode #1.2 Bury My Half At Waltham Green and #1.9 Monday Night Fever and was known more recently as ‘The Kensington’. This pub was sadly demolished in 2014.

First seen at 04m51s, much of the action in this episode is based in Elsa’s Club.

 

 In the next shot we see a view of the building directly opposite.

 

MEETING VICKERY & KATE 1 – THEN & NOW

DUNSTAN’S ROAD/DAWSON HEIGHTS ESTATE, SE22

At 12m47s, Arthur and Terry go to meet Vickery and Kate, walking up Dawson’s Hill.

 

Vickery and Kate are waiting on a bench in front of Dawson Heights Estate.

 

THE SQUAT/ARTHUR FINDS KATE – THEN & NOW 

MERRINGTON ROAD (SQUAT)/ONGAR ROAD, SW6

At 16 minutes we first see the squat that Terry is asked to repossess on Merrington Road.

 

At 42m Arthur tracks down Kate and her boyfriend who are parked in the Rolls-Royce at this location.

 

Arthur is let out of the Rolls-Royce further along Ongar Road, where it meets Micklethwaite Road.

 

JACK McQUEEN’S PLUMBERS MERCHANT – THEN & NOW 

REAR OF BROOMHOUSE STUDIOS, HURLINGHAM BUSINESS PARK, BROOMHOUSE LANE (NR CARNWATH ROAD), FULHAM, SW6

At exactly 21 minutes Arthur arrives at Jack McQueen’s Plumbers Merchant Building, where Jack gives Arthur £3750 as key money for Terry’s flat. More recently this had been a Jewson site.

 

MEETING VICKERY & KATE 2 – THEN & NOW

At 23m21s, Arthur and Terry meet Vickery and Kate for a second time to inform them that the squatters maintain they are paying rent.

 

DRIVING TO ELSA’S CLUB – THEN & NOW 

WESTWAY A40/WESTBOURNE BRIDGE EXIT ONTO WESTBOURNE TERRACE/CHILWORTH STREET, W2

At 29m04s, after leaving Helen’s flat, Terry and Helen head for Elsa’s club along the A40 and exit at Westbourne Bridge.

 

At 29m44s, they are driving along Westbourne Terrace at the junction with Chilworth Street.

 

RETURNING TO THE SQUAT – THEN & NOW 

HARROW ROAD INTO WESTBOURNE TERRACE ROAD/BLOMFIELD ROAD, W9

At 46m04s, Arthur and Terry return to the squat by first racing along Harrow Road underneath the A40/Westway.

 

They then turn off and are seen going over the bridge on Westbourne Terrace Road.

 

They then turn left into Blomfield Road.
