Just before 9 minutes, we see Terry drive the hot Cortina along Ladbroke Grove.

 

He then turns left into a private car park.

 

DES’S GARAGE – THEN & NOW

At various points in this episode we see Des’s garage. This is now a dead end as opposed to a slip road when Minder was filmed there.

 

ARTHUR & HARRY HAVE A ROUND OF GOLF – THEN & NOW

Just after 7 minutes Arthur meets Harry for a round of golf to discuss Terry’s minding job.

 

TERRY & ARTHUR MEET HARRY – THEN & NOW

Around 21m after Terry finds out his dabs are all over the Cortina, Arthur takes him to see Harry about minding Lady Margaret Thompson. Note the position of the arch in both shots below.

TERRY HEARS OF THE ARMED ROBBERY – THEN & NOW

At 14m34s we see Terry driving along the A219 Shepherds Bush Road, near Brook Green. On the radio he hears of the armed robbery using the Cortina.

 

ARTHUR TAKES TERRY TO MEET HARRY – THEN & NOW

At 18m49s after leaving Des’s garage, Arthur’s Jag emerges here as he drives Terry to see Harry to find out about minding Lady Thompson. 

 

STEVIE SWAPS FISH FOR CLOTHING 1 – THEN & NOW

Just after 21m Stevie drives to this location in the transit and shouts “old cloak for fish!”.

 

POLICE STATION/ARTHUR COLLECTS TERRY – THEN & NOW

At 25m45s, Terry is finally released after his detention because of the hot Cortina.

 In the background behind Arthur & Terry you can see the rear of Debbie’s club in #1.8 Come In T-64, Your Time Is Ticking Away.

 

LADY THOMPSON’S HOUSE – THEN & NOW

At 27 minutes, Arthur and Terry walk along the street to begin with. 

They then enter house number 43, where Arthur has to shut the gate.

This location is just along the street from where Bettina’s house is in #2.8 A Nice Little Wine.

 

STEVIE SWAPS FISH FOR CLOTHING 2 – THEN & NOW

At 30m22s, Stevie is out bribing kids with his goldfish here when an irate mother decides to have a word with him.

 

TERRY GOES SHOPPING WITH LADY THOMPSON – THEN & NOW   

Just after 34 minutes Terry accompanies Lady Thompson to this location where Terry is caught for shoplifting.

 The same location features in #9.2 No Way To Treat A Daley.

 

COURTHOUSE – THEN & NOW

After Terry gets a 2 year suspended sentence, he leaves the courtroom with Arthur, Des and Dave. This location has since been redeveloped although the building seen as they leave the court is still visible.
