TRAIN RIDE TO BRIGHTON – THEN & NOW

At 09m49s, Arthur & Terry head for Brighton in a train located between West Byfleet and Byfleet & New Haw station, in the south west outskirts of London. They are actually heading the wrong way into London.

WALKING IN BRIGHTON – THEN & NOW 

DUKES LANE, BRIGHTON, BN1

At 15m32s, after a brief meeting with Jeremy Burnham-Jones, Arthur & Terry leave the antiques shop and walk along Dukes Lane.

They soon turn the corner into a very sunny Ship Street where Arthur tells Terry he is needed for some watchdogging.

STAYING AT THE HOTEL/VIEW OF THE PIER – THEN & NOW 

THE METROPOLE, KINGS ROAD, BRIGHTON, BN1

Just after 22 minutes, following Terry’s first night at the stables, Arthur opens his hotel balcony door expecting a peaceful view of the west pier. Sadly, this pier suffered what is believed to be an arson attack in 2003. Read more here. The view from this picture shows Arthur is staying at ‘The Metropole’, now a Hilton Hotel.

HORSE TRAINING

EPSOM DOWNS RACECOURSE/VIEW OF EPSOM LANE NORTH, EPSOM, SURREY, KT18

This location is first seen around 13 minutes and then again around 23 minutes. Notice the white house in both shots, filming taking place directly opposite.

FARM & STABLES 

PRIAM LODGE STABLES, BURGH HEATH ROAD, EPSOM, SURREY, KT17

Just after 16 minutes we first see the farm where much of this episode is based.

Just after 25 minutes Terry and O’Brady bring two horses and we see a view from the entrance.

HORSE WALKING/SEAFRONT 

WEST BEACH/EAST BEACH (NR SEA ROAD), LITTLEHAMPTON, BN17

At 28m28s, Arthur & Terry are out walking the horses along West Beach in Littlehampton.

Arthur & Terry then sit on a bench at the seafront on East Beach, near Sea Road and Norfolk Gardens.

RACECOURSE

ROYAL WINDSOR RACECOURSE, MAIDENHEAD ROAD, WINDSOR, BERKSHIRE, SL4 5JJ

At the end of the episode, we see the showdown between Rita and Brickett and Arthur & Terry discover there is far more going on between Jeremy Burnham-Jones and Jocelyn Maxwell-Saunders than they first thought. Both shots show the Winner’s Enclosure at Royal Windsor.
