At the start of this episode Jamie drops off a fare outside the Gherkin before Archie gets into his cab.

At 01m28s, Jamie then drives into Camomile Street, pursued by the Gold Brothers’ heavies.

 

TAXI CHASE 2 – THEN & NOW  

GRACECHURCH STREET/LEADENHALL STREET, EC3 

At 01m54s, they pass the RSA Insurance building on the corner of Gracechurch Street and Leadenhall Street. They pass this again at 02m08s.

 

TAXI CHASE 3 – THEN & NOW  

BISHOPSGATE, EC3 

At 02m02s, as we get a view from the rear cab window the chase has now moved to Bishopsgate in the opposite direction. This is seen again at 02m25s.

At 02m03s, Jamie decides to move over into the taxi lane to try and get away from those chasing Archie.

 

TAXI CHASE 4 – THEN & NOW  

KING WILLIAM STREET/CANNON STREET, EC4 

At 02m22s, Jamie tells Archie that him and his face are getting out at the next lights when Archie decides to bribe Jamie with some cash.

At 02m38s, Jamie turns right where King William Street meets Cannon Street.

 

TAXI CHASE 5 – THEN & NOW 

ST SWITHENS LANE/KING WILLIAM STREET, EC4 

At 02m47s, after telling Archie to fasten his seatbelt, Jamie turns left off King William Street into St Swithens Lane.

 

TAXI CHASE 6 – THEN & NOW 

125 CANNON STREET/LAURENCE POUNTNEY LANE, EC4 

At 3 minutes Jamie and Archie pass ‘Pret A Manger’ and Vodafone located at 125 Cannon Street – here Jamie turns right into Laurence Pountney Lane.

At 03m09s, Jamie realises there is no way out so drives along the pedestrianised walkway on Laurence Pountney Hill.

 

TAXI CHASE 7 – THEN & NOW

At 03m35s Jamie and Archie emerge on Laurence Pountney Hill.

 

TAXI CHASE 8 – GETTING CAUGHT – THEN & NOW

At 03m45s, just as Archie and Jamie think they have escaped from the Gold Brothers’ heavies, they are rammed from the side and end up here.

 

After the Gold Brothers appear and give Archie an incentive for removing Petra from the pub, Archie offers Jamie a bit of work to make amends.

 

RETURNING TO THE LOCKUP 1 – THEN & NOW

At 08m22s Archie and Jamie cross Tower Bridge on the way back to the lockup.

At 08m29s Archie and Jamie turn from Union Street into Great Suffolk Street.

 

DRIVING TO THE GOLD BROTHERS – THEN & NOW

At 17m46s, Archie and Jamie drive to the Gold Brothers where Archie tries to buy himself some time. South Bank Tower can be seen in the background.

At 18m02s, they turn left into Sumner Street.

 

LEAVING THE GOLD BROTHERS – THEN & NOW  

HOLLAND STREET/SUMNER STREET, A3200, SE1 

At 20m14s, Archie and Jamie leave the Gold Brothers and appear on Holland Street at the rear of the building.

It is here that Jamie tells Archie he doesn’t like what he stands for and decides to walk away from Archie.

 

DICKIE MINT’S OFFICE – THEN & NOW  

OFF GATE STREET, WC2 

At 21m25s, Archie and his lawyer Dickie Mint leave Dickie’s office where Archie explains all his problems to Dickie. Dickie tells Archie he needs a therapist and not a lawyer.

DICKIE’S FLAT/JAMIE’S FLAT – THEN & NOW

At 23m19s, Archie and Dickie arrive at Dickie’s flat here where Dickie tells Archie he is unable to get a tenant to stay longer than a month. At the end of the episode Archie takes Jamie here.

 

LAND REGISTRY/PLANNING OFFICE – THEN & NOW  

LINCOLN’S INN FIELDS, WC2 

At 27m25s, Archie and Jamie sneak into the Land Registry to obtain some documents in an attempt to overcome the Gold Brothers plans.

At 31m58s we get a brief glimpse of Southwark Bridge with a view of Tower Bridge in the distance beyond it.

At 32 minutes, we first see the front of the police station where Archie fronts bail for Dickie to get Jamie out.

At 35m30s, Archie & Jamie both return here later to cut a deal with Detective Murray.

 

SHOWDOWN WITH THE GOLD BROTHERS – THEN & NOW

At 37m04s Archie and Jamie’s plan to set up the Gold Brothers and Councillor Conway is put into action and they all agree to meet here.
