At 05m08s Terry arrives at Gibbons’s garage to return the car to Arthur.

 

He is quickly followed by Arthur and the pair walk towards Arthur’s car lot.

At 09m16s, Arthur & Terry leave the pub and drive to Mukerjee’s shop along this street – the shots below are the second of two shots heading in a south-easterly direction.

At 17m34s, after Indira runs from the shop to the market location (see below), Terry chases her along this road. Here we see a partial view of Hyde Park’s Victoria Gate in the background.

At 25m19s, Arthur drives to the market – turning from Shepherds Bush Road into Blythe Road.

Just after 25 minutes, Arthur drives to this location where he spots Mukerjee’s daughter Indira, doing some shopping.

At 26m, Arthur follows Mukerjee’s daughter Indira to this address. They walk along Agate Road, into Benbow Road and turn right into Sycamore Gardens.

 

At 27m, Arthur calls Terry to come around and help. Here we see the street from a different angle and Terry goes around the back of number 22.

 

MUKERJEE CALLS IMMIGRATION – THEN & NOW

At 31m14s, we see Mukerjee go here to call immigration at London Airport.

Around 36 minutes, Terry throws out two youths from this pub and it is here that Mukerjee and his daughter Indira arrive later in the episode to ask Terry for help.

This same street features in the opening titles of The Ray Daley Years.

CAFÉ – THEN & NOW

At 30m35s, Arthur and Terry are here discussing the situation with Indira and Kevin. Around 39 minutes, Kev & Indira also come here and leave with a shot of Blythe House.

At 39m53s, after leaving the cafe, Kevin and Indira drive to face Mukerjee at his shop. Here Kev tells Indira his motor is stuck in second gear.

Here they pass The Royal Oak (more recently ‘The Jam Tree’ and ‘The Underbrook’) pub. In the next shot they are in more or less exactly the same place driving in the opposite direction.

 

DRIVING TO SAVE KEVIN 1 – THEN & NOW

At 44m45s, Arthur, Terry, Mukerjee and Indira all drive to the Indian restaurant to try and save Kevin.

This scene takes place directly outside ‘The Bricklayer’s Arms’ pub that features in #1.2 Bury My Half At Waltham Green, #1.9 Monday Night Fever and #2.9 All Mod Cons.

At 44m56s, they are now in Sinclair Road, very near to Terry’s series 1 flat.

 

Arthur then turns right and we catch a brief glimpse of Hofland Road.

 

ASLAM’S INDIAN RESTAURANT – THEN & NOW 

INDIAN RESTAURANT (RECENTLY ‘MUMTAZ RESTAURANT’), 4-10 PARK ROAD, NW1

At 45m23s we see Kevin going to challenge Aslam in the episode’s showdown. Terry soon arrives and a punch-up ensues when Terry tells Aslam that Mukerjee will pay him back at a rate of fifteen quid a week.
