At 05m35s, after Des has fooled Terry into helping him with a breakdown, they arrive here to find a red Jaguar XJS.

At 7 minutes, after Arthur has left his tailor Harold and accidentally meets old friend Jo, she taxis him to ‘Daley Holdings’. They drive along Wilton Crescent before eventually arriving here at Lowndes Square.

 

TERRY VISITS ‘MR BOOZE’ OFF-LICENCE – THEN & NOW

After meeting with Arthur and Jo, at 10 minutes Terry heads off to this location looking for Sunworthy Homes, only to be played a tape recording from the assistant as he is so fed up about being asked about them.

 

THE HURST HOUSE – THEN & NOW 

MANOR ROAD, RICHMOND, TW9

At 11 minutes, Terry visits an allotment at the back of the Hurst’s house, looking for Ralph Hurst. The house behind Terry is in the centre of the more recent shot – all located alongside North Sheen station, also seen in the episode.

 

FREDDIE FENTON’S OFFICE – THEN & NOW 

BRACKENBURY ROAD/ALDENSLEY ROAD, W6

First seen at 16 minutes, this location features at various points in this episode. Firstly, Terry confronts Fenton outside his office after a request from Arthur.

 

Later on in the episode, Terry and Des return to see Fenton to inform him about his precious Rolls-Royce.

                         

At 42m we see a glimpse of the whole street with Terry leaning on the post box eating some chips.

 

FENTON’S CAR PARK – THEN & NOW

First seen around 21 minutes, Fenton switches his old blue Mark II Cortina for his Rolls-Royce at this car park garage. Fenton’s Blue Cortina can also be seen at the start of #1.10 The Dessert Song.

 

DES & TERRY COLLECT MERCEDES 1 – THEN & NOW

KENSINGTON PARK ROAD/PEMBRIDGE ROAD, W11

At 22 minutes Des & Terry are seen walking at this location just before they go to collect the yellow Mercedes. Des has parked his van in Bulmer Mews.

After getting in the van they head to this location where the Mercedes is located.

Around 27 minutes, Arthur and his tailor Harold spot Fenton leaving the casino in his Rolls-Royce.

Around 28 minutes after discovering where Fenton lives, Terry pays him a visit.

 

After parking his Capri in Fife Road, Terry finds Fenton reading the paper next to his solarium.

 

DES’S GARAGE ‘JE MOTIVE ENGINEERS’ – THEN & NOW

Around 33 minutes, we catch a brief glimpse of Des’s garage (now a house). It is on the same street as Terry’s one-off flat in this episode.

 

After Terry discovers that he and Des have been stealing the motors, he chases Des along the alleyway towards Cologne Road.

 

ARTHUR, TERRY & DES ENQUIRE ABOUT A ROLLS-ROYCE – THEN & NOW

At 36m11s, Arthur, Terry & Des go to find out how long it would take to get a brand new Rolls-Royce, as they consider stealing Fenton’s car.

 

Just before Arthur is told it would take “rather longer than the gestation period of an elephant”, we see Berkeley Square through the window.

At 38m58s, Terry & Des are following Fenton’s Ford Cortina and they all drive under the District & Piccadilly Line Bridges at this location.

 

TERRY ESCAPES FROM FENTON & JUMPS FROM FLYOVER – THEN & NOW 

A40 FLYOVER WESTWAY/LATIMER ROAD/OXFORD GARDENS, W10

At 44 minutes, Terry parks in a lay-by ready to return the Rolls-Royce to Freddie Fenton, who arrives moments later with some heavies.

 

After Terry escapes from Fenton, he jumps from the A40 Flyover and lands in a lorry in Latimer Road.

 

With Terry on the back of the lorry, Des turns the corner into Latimer Road.
