At 12m53s, Arthur and Terry leave the police station where Terry has been kept and walk along the street chatting at this location. Marble Arch is in the background.

 

BOBBY ALTMAN’S HOUSE/GRANADA TURNS OVER – THEN & NOW

At 16 minutes, Terry is taken to see Altman at his mansion here.

 

Around 47 minutes, after Arthur is abducted by Altman and taken for a jog at this location, Terry returns here to rescue Arthur at the end of the episode.

This house also featured in a ‘Jason King’ episode entitled ‘All That Glisters (Part One)’ and has now been demolished. It has been replaced by Mansfield House.

DRIVING TO LADY INGRAVE – THEN & NOW 

BROOK GREEN, W6

At 22m43s, Arthur and Terry are seen driving here en route to Lady Ingrave’s house as Terry tells Arthur that Altman is likely to kill him.

LADY INGRAVE’S HOUSE & STEPS OPPOSITE – THEN & NOW

At 23m07s, Arthur & Terry go to visit Lady Ingrave.

When Arthur & Terry see Altman arriving, they run across the street and hide on some steps.

Arthur soon disappears while Terry says he will stay behind to have a look.

Terry and Lady Ingrave continue to walk along Kynance Mews at the bottom of the steps.

 

BILLY’S BODY IS FOUND – THEN & NOW 

DELL QUAY SAILING CLUB, DELL QUAY ROAD, APULDRAM, CHICHESTER, WEST SUSSEX, PO20 7EE

When almost everyone thinks Billy has done a runner, he turns up dead at this location about halfway through the episode.

The building in the more recent shot is actually the Crown & Anchor Pub, who have their own website here.

HOSPITAL – THEN & NOW 

ROYAL FREE HOSPITAL (ROWLAND HILL STREET ENTRANCE), ROSSLYN HILL, HAMPSTEAD, NW3

At 31m53s we first see the hospital where Lord Ingrave is as Terry arrives. Just after 34 minutes Terry and Lady Ingrave leave at the Rowland Hill Street entrance after hearing of Billy’s death.

 

ARTHUR’S FLAT/ABDUCTION BY ALTMAN/TERRY GOES AFTER ARTHUR 1 – THEN & NOW 

FITZ GEORGE AVENUE/AURIOL ROAD INTO EDITH ROAD, W8

Just after 34 minutes, Arthur decides to leave his flat and disappear quietly and he is seen leaving this location, assumed to be where he lives.

Moments later he is ambushed and abducted by Altman’s bodyguards as he turns from Auriol Road into Edith Road.

The following morning Terry goes around looking for Arthur, only to discover his empty car.

TERRY GOES AFTER ARTHUR 2 – THEN & NOW

ADDISON GARDENS INTO ELSHAM ROAD, W14

After finding his empty Jag, Terry goes straight to Altman’s place to find Arthur and turns right from Addison Gardens into Elsham Road.

Terry’s trip to Altman’s place then takes him along Brook Green.
