Series 1
THE WINCHESTER CLUB 1 – THEN & NOW
CHALK FARM PARADE, ADELAIDE ROAD, NW3
This location is used throughout series 1. This was a real club at the time of filming, called ‘The Eton Club’. The original club is almost unrecognisable these days.

The first series is actually shot inside and outside this club. As the crew were based in Hammersmith it became more difficult to travel back and forth to this location, so a studio set was built for indoor scenes from series 2 onwards.

This location also features in the end credits of The Terry McCann Years.

THE VICTORIA PUB, 68-70 PAGE’S WALK, SE1
In the first episode of the series #11.1 Better The Devil You Know, this pub still uses its original sign. It later burns down. The top left picture is the first glimpse we get of this pub.

In #11.2 In Vino Veritas, it is resurrected as ‘The Winchester’ – shown below on the left. Notice how the van is strategically positioned to cover the pub’s original green sign.
